The sun came out today - and it was hot! Lovely! Got up just over 80 degrees!

It was Jessegirl's day off today, she decided to stay home to rest and care for Boy. Bubba babysat in the morning and then read most of the afternoon. Since all was quiet and the day was lovely and DH had gotten a reprieve from Court, DH and I decided to bolt for the beach. Fill our batteries a little for the coming week of Law Hell! We had a lovely, meandering ride down on quiet country roads, walked on the sand, dipped our toes in the ocean and got sunburned. How delightful! As we hit our home town, we could see that a thunderstorm had just moved through, the roads were steaming. As we came through the trees and hit the center of town, we could see there were masses of dark grey clouds to the north, and then lightening was breaking on either side of us. We raced home and just missed the next set of storms. The rain and hail came down right after we got in the house. How exhilarating!

Sounds lovely!

Monsoon season has started for us here in AZ. It can be so fierce at times, with very harsh lightening storms that would raise the hair on the bravest person. But its lovely and the kids and I so enjoy this time of the year. Its just the beginning and its already proved to be pretty exciting!
