Amy, my next door neighbor and friend, got a miniature boston terrier a couple of months ago. She is a sweet little puppy, but New England winters are pretty cold for a little puppy born down south, so I knit her a sweater. It is the first dog sweater I have ever knit, so I was worried that it might not be ok. I was looking around for a model before I gave it to Zoe puppy, and my two cats kindly volunteered.

Lilli did not want to take it off, she was purring very loudly.

Tombo also enjoyed the sweater, but he pointed out that dogs and cats are built differently, so when I knit him his own sweater, I should remember to make the neck taller and sew the armholes in differently. It was a little hard for him to walk in the sweater, but he put in a request for his own, perhaps not in purple french yarn after all.
